The main focus of this year is to bring new players to WAKFU and strengthen our communities. As we detailed in the Letter to the Community, we wanted to give a new face to the start of the game (Incarnam). By revamping Incarnam and thus making the game’s tutorial appealing, we are continuing those efforts to attract new players, grow communities and ultimately create a healthy and happy MMO experience.
 
We have spent the last few updates introducing the Nation Quest which allows us to tell the story of WAKFU. However we felt that prior to the Nation Quest, there was something missing, something all good stories need: a beginning! We don’t want to say too much about the revamped version of Incarnam just yet (as we’d like you to discover it) but what we can say is that it not solely a visual overhaul!
 
We understand that the first moments in the game are really important to whether a player enters or exits the World of Twelve and so we’re dedicated to make sure that the transition from Incarnam to Astrub and Astrub to the rest of the World of Twelve is enjoyable, entertaining and interesting!
 
With this focus in mind, we expected to not only implement new Incarnam but also the Adjustable Level System and Mentorship System. As you may know, because the team is small and because different features take varying degrees of time, we must adapt the team and our resources to make sure content is completed. Given the amount of time which was required for the Incarnam revamp, the Adjustable Level System and the Mentorship System, we had to prioritise which content we wanted to deliver first. Given these time constraints, we could not fully complete all that we had originally wanted to in time for July. We felt that Incarnam was the best choice to release first as it required less time for us to complete than the previously mentioned systems. It also meant that our efforts in attracting new players could be renewed. We are happy with the results of revamped Incarnam, but we still feel that there are aspects we must refine on both the Adjustable Level System and the Mentorship System
 
We apologize to those that were looking forward to using these features, but please rest assured that we are working to ensure these features are fully operational for a future update of WAKFU.
 
Within the next few weeks, we will reveal more details about what you can expect in the next patch and new Incarnam as well as screenshots and behind-the-scenes news!

When we were starting out in 2008, we were very stern with the story of the WAKFU series. To make sense of it all, bits and pieces of the plot were only sewn together by the end of the season. If there was any revelation at all, it was too little!

Write a song that describes the dungeon of your choice, compose the music and sing it solo or with a group of friends. Then all that’s left is to set it to a video (filmed or using images taken from the game), then post your video online on YouTube!

• Produce an original music video with the theme "Gobbstock Dungeons".

And for good reason: you may now modify your secret questions and answers in just a few seconds by text message via the Account Management page!
 
For years, you've been asking us to simplify this process, but at the time, we were unable to offer a simple, secure alternative. But now, thanks to text messaging, it's possible!

A rather unusual event is rocking the beach of Bilbiza: it's been invaded by Sändskates! Unless it's the beach who's found a way to repel the hoards of tourists who trample it all summer? If you want to be sure, you'll have to investigate. In any case, getting a tan seems unlikely, because these little creatures won't leave you alone. And don't think you'll have better luck in Astrub! Other creatures have crossed the seas and are wreaking havoc in the plains.
 
There's no time to relax in summer! Get together to face the Sändskates, find their dungeon, beat their master, and start over. Because so long as there's sand, there are Skätes! Don't forget to look for Pearls to exchange for exclusive rewards at the machine. Go to Astrub to get some details from Gnat, the Meridia of Shells!
