We also wanted to present, in a few lines, a new concept/feature for the dungeons that we are going to implement in the Beta too.

This new concept is still in its beginning , but we wanted to start making you aware of this feature as you will get to start testing it!
 
The goal being to allow you to adjust the difficulty of your dungeons according to your needs. Adaptable difficulty monsters, rewards and even associated achievements, which will also earn you more rewards.
 
A few more perks:
 

• Dungeon Keys will no longer be necessary to enter dungeons
• A new consumable will allow you to revive yourself (only for dungeon use)

Protection: Sometimes its really effective, but sometimes it gets stuck. Up until now, if you broke the smartphone that had your Authenticator on it, or if you no longer had access to the email address linked to your Shield, you could find yourself blocked in the depths of the Krosmoz.

Of course, Ankama Support was there to help you… and will always be there to pull you out of a Gobball patty. But still, it's a bit of a pain to have to put in a support request just for that...

Well, this story has a happy ending because from now on you will be able to deactivate Ankama protection (Authenticator and Shield) by just sending an SMS*! It's safe, quick and free**!

At 7.52 AM... Chelmi, a Feca shepherd from the Amakna countryside, made his regular morning visit to see his Gobball herd on the hill and make sure they were grazing peacefully. He lives just a few hundred metres away, so he often visits them during the day to whisper a few sweet nothings to them and sometimes, when the mood strikes, to sing to all the Gobballs he’s loved before.
 
He still doesn’t realize that horror is just around the corner...
 
In fact, when Chelmi arrives at the paddock and sees the carnage, he let’s out a shriek so loud it can still be heard echoing through the valley. He drops to his knees before the lifeless remains of his herd, the burned carcasses, still smouldering... On hearing Chelmi’s screams of horror, Rance Gale, rushes to the top of the hill to find her husband in tears, sadly munching on a Gobball chop. Some time later, she remembers the few words her husband managed to stammer: “Boo hoo… It’sh overcooked…”.
 
Without a minute to waste, Rance Gale races home to grab her Shushuper camera to get photographic proof. Making her way back up the hill, she hears shrieking again and races to Chelmi at the top.
 
She doesn’t realize that she is about to witness the unthinkable...
 
Arriving at the paddock, Rance Gale, drops her camera in shock. “Ouch! Hey you! I’m not a disposal camera!” The young Feca looks up to the sky where her husband points and sees a terrible, dark shadow. With her whole body shaking, she pulls herself together and grabs the Chimerical camera: “Are you okay? Nothing broken, Chimerical?”
“Good grief, I’m sure it’s broken! I better warn you... I’ll... hey...!”
 
Rance Gale ignores the Shushu’s complaints and luckily just has enough time to photograph the creature in the sky before it disappears behind a cloud.
 
Chelmi and his wife exchange a look of disbelief. When suddenly, the sky darkens once more, and the creature descends straight at them! There’s only one thing left for the couple to do... RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!

Dear Wakfunders,
 
It's time to take stock of the Wakfunding operation which ended yesterday. Let's not beat around the bush: we're delighted with the results. 

In total, the operation raised 251,841 euros. This money will allow us to bring financing for season 3 of Wakfu to a close. Thank you very much to all of you.
 
But more than the sum in itself, it's what it stands for that is most touching to us. You love our creations, and have proved so by supporting us. We've received many messages of encouragement throughout this month, and in the end, that's what we needed most. I'd also like to take this opportunity to give a little wink to Regis of Toulouse for his very touching letter, received yesterday.
 
I've already talked about it many times on the forums, but it's quite hard to stay the course as we have been doing for over 15 years now. We love our work, and the goal of most of us is to entertain you, to amuse you…

If I had to sum up our jobs in a very naive way, I'd say our task is to "entertain you while being entertained ourselves". That may seem a little silly, but I think it's impossible to have a profound effect on people through a creative project – of whatever kind – without taking delight in developing it and without putting a little bit of who we are into it.

After 15 years of creations of all kinds, it's you we need the most to stay the course. We need your encouragement and support. It's vital for our morale and our desire to keep going for another 15 years. And this Wakfunding is typically the kind of project that warms our hearts. We hesitated for a long time before launching this operation. Even internally, 90% of Ankamians thought it was a mistake, and that we were going to be slaughtered on the forums.  

On the contrary, you proved to us that you'd be there when we needed you. And honestly, that's the best Christmas present you could have given us. 
 
We'll now be able to finish off our lovely little season 3 much more serenely.

Stasis Dungeons: adjust the difficulty of a dungeon!

This new feature will allow you to adjust the difficulty of a dungeon as you like. Has the Gobball Dungeon become too easy for your liking? Correct it by corrupting the monsters with Stasis! And on the other hand: the krazy Kanniballs getting you down? Lower the difficulty and come back later to put them in their place.

With this new feature, you will gain experience and rewards according to the difficulty set!

There are 50 levels of difficulty that await you, divided into 5 levels (of difficulty):
 

• Rapid (1-10)
• Normal (11-20)
• Difficult (21-30)
• Expert (31-40)
• Master (41-50)

Quest of Nations - Chapter 5

• A 4-part quest for level 45 (or above) players, continuing on from Chapter 4 in the Quest of Nations (a pre-requisite)
• A visit to sandy Sufokia and Oktapodas’ Sunken Temple for a whole ton of surprises
